HSE21
The Hamilton Southeastern Schools Foundation is a proud partner of HSE21: INNOVATING EDUCATION. The mission of HSE21 is to equip students with the content knowledge, unique skills and new literacies they will need to succeed in the 21st century global economy.
This 1:1 technology initiative will inspire more than 20,000 students to think critically and deeply about complex issues. The design has additional benefits of:
- increasing student engagement
- adapting to diverse student needs
- providing real world practice in collaboration and communication
- training students to evaluate the credibility of information sources
The Hamilton Southeastern Schools Foundation has invested over $20,000 in HSE21 largely dedicated to increasing professional development opportunities for teachers. This allows teachers to enhance their knowledge and proficiency of integrating 21st century skills, technology and inquiry-based learning into their instructional practices.
